Second time’s the charm

With a little help from our friends, our second attempt at crossing the pond was a success!  

Arrived here where tonight we get the welcome briefing and paper documentation for our pilgrimage (already have digital route map).

Spent the afternoon wandering around Porto trying to stay awake and realign our sleep clock.

Tomorrow, we’re off.  

Interestingly, we’ve been meeting all sorts of people who intend to do all or part of the Camino ever since we got to the Austin airport on Tuesday and we haven’t put foot one on the trail yet - anybody that looks a little “outdoorsy” and is wearing a backpack is suspect! Looking forward to meeting lots of ‘em.
